Reaching the unreached, marginalized and underserved populations is at the top agenda for the world communities for ensuring peace, harmony and prosperity in the world. Inclusion of children who are out of school and retention of children at risk of dropping out of school, and achieving quality education for all, including the unreached and unprivileged populations, with an improved quality of teaching learning process (educators, learning resources, curriculum, learners) and learning outcomes are the challenges faced by developing nations like Pakistan. These objectives are hard to achieve without sound research and appropriate teacher preparation to meet these challenges.
